Sixteen years ago, as a high school freshman, I officially began my journey in the beauty industry. (My journey unofficially began when I was given a pair of safety scissors as a child and cut everyone’s hair - my barbies, my American girl dolls, my friends). After graduating from the Cosmetology program at Minuteman Regional High School, I took my state board exam and got my MA Cosmetology License. From there, I was thrown right onto the salon floor, given a chair of my own, and took any client that walked through the door. Never afraid of a challenge, I learned a LOT the hard way (through many mistakes and fixes) and quickly built a loyal clientele. From styling friends and clients for proms, I entered the world of event styling and fell in love. As my older sister’s friends started to get engaged, they would hire me for their wedding day hair and makeup. I took any job I could, to gain more and more experience. I couldn’t get enough. I started to build my own freelance wedding business.
